Author Visit - Toongabbie Christian College

In October 2025 I had the honour of sharing with Toongabbie Christian College as part of their Literature Week Celebrations.

We had 4 sessions across the day - Kindy, Grades 5-6, Grades 3-4 and Grades 1-2. Together we went on a journey, following the Australian CBCA Book Week Theme of Book An Adventure. We explored where books can take us, how to get your story to it’s destination and what the journey to becoming an author might look like. The students were all so creative as they shared their story ideas using the ‘idea generator’!

It was such a fun day, I’m looking forward to one day reading the stories and seeing the illustrations they create!
